Dr. Plamen Mirchev performs eye examinations at the “Zara-Med” Medical Center in Stara Zagora, 4 Orpheus Street, under a contract with the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) for various reasons: determining the prescription for distance and near vision glasses, and treating eye conditions such as cataracts (age-related clouding of the lens), glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, cosmetic eyelid correction, and contact lens fitting.
